Interview with Dr Yeo Khee Hong
(ex-gessian)
Q: Which year did you
join GESS?
A: in 1971 (At sec 3 in
a physical science class)
Q: Did you like the school
at that time?
A: It is a good school,
good teacher. I liked my math and literature teacher.
Q: How were the students
back then?
A: There were disciplinary
problems so the principal changed into MOE senior inspector Robert Tan. I remembered him very clearly as he is very fierce.
(Breaks into laughter.)
Q: What were your feelings
towards the school?
A: The canteen stallholders
are passionate to their job. Sometimes they give you free food if you really don’t have money. I think a good school
must not only comprise of good teachers but also everyone including the canteen stallholders.
